Luxurious Self Catering in Ullapool

Foinaven House is situated in the west coast village of Ullapool, on Scotland’s North Coast 500 route.  This stunning self catering holiday home sits in an amazing garden and has wonderful sea loch views from every window. The view extends to Ullapool harbour where you can watch the ferry and fishing boats.

The house is named after a mountain situated in north-west Scottish Highlands. Previously thought to be a Munro (Scottish mountains over 3000ft) Foinaven has been re-surveyed and now falls 12ft short of Munro status…however we have made sure that Foinaven House will not fall short and will provide you with a memorable holiday experience.

This holiday home in Ullapool is a perfect getaway retreat where guests can revel in the magnificent panoramic views and be captivated by the magnificent scenery at any time of year.

Our Accommodation

Foinaven House has been planned to make the most of its surroundings – the living room and kitchen/diner both benefit from the amazing views of Loch Broom and the hills beyond. This high specification holiday house is an ideal retreat for exploring this wonderful part of the Scottish Highlands.

About the area

Guest Comments

“We’ve been privileged to be your first guests at Foinaven House and we’re happy to give you some feedback on our top notch week here.  The house is warm and peaceful, the beds are very comfortable, the decor and furnishings are spot on.  The kitchen is spacious and modern and extremely well equipped.  We love the big windows in the living room and the kitchen making the most of those stunning views.  The stovax is excellent and makes the living room very cosy in the evening.  Although located close to the road the house is private and we didn’t notice traffic noise.   It’s an easy stroll to shops and cafes and just ideal for tourists exploring Ullapool and the surrounding area. The highlight of our stay was watching the red squirrels come to the feeder every day”.
